ChefPax Policies

Return, refund, and delivery policies for ChefPax microgreens

Return Policy (Perishable Food Compliance)

ChefPax provides ultra-fresh, perishable microgreens. Due to food safety regulations and the nature of our products, we cannot accept returns on non-defective items. Once delivered, microgreens cannot be re‑stocked, reused, or resold.

We only accept return requests when:
  • Product arrives damaged, spoiled, or otherwise unusable upon delivery
  • An incorrect item was delivered

To request a return or replacement for a defective item, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery with:

  • • Order number
  • • Description of issue
  • • Photo of the product

If approved, ChefPax will replace or refund the defective item at no cost to you.

Refund Policy

Refunds are issued only for the following cases:
  • Items that arrive damaged or spoiled
  • Incorrect items shipped
  • Orders canceled before harvest/packing

Refunds are not issued for:
  • Preference changes
  • Orders left outside beyond delivery window
  • Improper storage after delivery

Refunds will be credited back to your payment method within 3–5 business days after approval.

Delivery Policy

ChefPax delivers microgreens locally within the Austin metro area.

Delivery Time
  • Typical delivery time: 0–1 business days after order placement
  • Orders placed before 2:00 PM CST may qualify for same-day delivery
  • Orders placed after 2:00 PM may be delivered the following day

Delivery Method
  • Hand-delivered by ChefPax or trusted courier partners (including Uber Direct)
  • Delivery occurs Monday–Saturday

Delivery Requirements

• Ensure someone is available to receive the order

• ChefPax is not responsible for orders left unattended in heat or poor conditions

Satisfaction Guarantee

We stand behind the quality and freshness of every microgreen tray.

If your order does not meet expectations, notify us within 24 hours and we will:

  • Replace the defective product, or
  • Issue a partial or full refund (depending on the issue)

Our goal is to consistently deliver vibrant, healthy, nutrient-rich microgreens at peak freshness.

Estimated delivery time is 0–1 business days, depending on order cutoff time and courier availability.

ChefPax does not offer product exchanges.
